Group dates: To be confirmed by March 2026. The group will depart Melbourne on 4 December 2026 and return six weeks later (once flights are confirmed with the airline).Travel choices: You can travel on our group dates or on your own dates, as long as your stay is during the French school year (September–June), with arrival on Saturday morning and departure on Saturday afternoon/evening.

Enrolment in the same school as the French correspondent + Same school, but not necessarily the same class nor a boarder. Host family with child(ren) of a similar age Only international student in the host family SCHOOL & ACCOMMODATION Private / exclusive bedroom in the host family home + Student has their own bedroom at the host family home. This may differ only when the host family travels (e.g., holidays/weekends away) or at the boarding house where the student may be in a shared bedroom or dormitory. Bedroom Arrangement in the Host Family + Bedroom arrangements depend on the host household and availability. A private bedroom is not guaranteed. Students may be accommodated in a shared bedroom (for example with a host sibling or another student), depending on local practices and the home setup. Enrolment in a French Local School + Enrolment is arranged in a local French school (public or private depending on availability and the student profile). Placement is subject to school acceptance, local capacity, calendar constraints, and administrative requirements. School selection cannot be guaranteed; the student follows the school’s rules (timetable, attendance, behaviour, assessments) and may be required to purchase items such as uniforms, books, or specific supplies depending on the school. Meals in the Host Family Home (Full Board at Home) + Meals provided and eaten in the host family home are included (as offered by the host family, in line with the household’s routine). Meals taken outside the home are not included (e.g., cafés/restaurants, cantine at school, lunch during school week, take-away, outings, personal snacks). “Emily in Paris” Theme Trip

Dates

If your program starts and/or ends on the same date as our chaperoned group, you’re welcome to travel with them. The estimated group travel dates for 2025 include a stay in France from December 6, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Final group travel dates are typically confirmed by the airlines in April.

If you prefer to fly independently, you can arrive in France on any Saturday morning and must depart on a Saturday afternoon or evening. Please note the following restrictions that No arrivals or departures are allowed between December 22, 2025, and January 5, 2026.

There will always be a chaperone on group travel dates for flights from Melbourne to Paris and on the return journey to Melbourne. Chaperones from other cities will only be organized if sufficient numbers are reached, with confirmation in October.

For any flights outside the designated group travel dates, students will be flying individually.
